Hi, I’m Hanna.

Folks often connect with me when they are feeling frustrated, stuck in unhelpful cycles of behaviour, and uncertain about how to cope.

Therapy helps with:

  • determining options and making sustainable changes

  • developing coping strategies that work

  • being more mindful so you can shift from reacting to responding

  • creating wholeness and healing within

I strongly believe in the healing capacity of the therapeutic relationship.

With compassion, openness, and warmth I hold space for you to be present with your emotional experiences, thoughts, memories, and beliefs.

You, as a whole and complex human, are welcome in our shared space. Together, we will navigate whatever you are going through.

I feel incredibly honoured and grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside my clients as they move toward healing.

Therapy with Hanna

  • Holding space for you to process and heal while being met with empathy, openness, non-judgment, compassion, and acceptance.

  • Your whole self is welcome in our shared space.

I strive to model authenticity by being honest and open with clients.

  • I will meet you where you are in your healing journey, and go at your pace.

Clients choose what topics to focus on in therapy and decisions about what interventions are employed are made together.

  • Dedicated to providing a culturally safe and inclusive space. Empowering clients and ensuring their needs are met. I understand that every client is unique, and interventions are tailored to you as an individual.

  • A strong therapeutic relationship is important for effective therapy. I will work hard to make sure you feel understood, safe, supported, and secure.

Office, Nature-based, & virtual options

In-person office, virtual (video/phone), and walk and talk sessions are available.

Walk and talk sessions provide the opportunity to connect in/with nature.

  • Walks typically take place from my office in Oak Bay, at UVIC, or at the Cedar Hill Golf Course.

  • Walk and talk sessions may also be arranged with your child’s school.

You do not need to go through this alone.
